Not many MKDD topics near the top of the list which is a shame, anyway a challenge to all you good players, I have just watched a video of 3 laps totalling 2:31:340 (Jap recorded is 2.29.420) if any of you can get near those times you should shout it out loud, I'm down to 2.46.xxx but haven't played MKDD since Saturday.
I guess you all know the obvious little shortcut by the way (it only saves around 3 seconds a lap before you get excited)

I have a 2.31.xxx Bowser Castle replay but it was shot with a digi video camera and quality is poor.

The short cut near the chain chomp does help a lot, but it's best to use the second short cut, too. Just before the second corner, if you go to the right of a few warp pipes you can o around the corner really quickly, improved my times a lot. Although they're still not too good.

your talking about the Luigi one... i thought you meant the bowser one... i knew 1:18 was imposible. your bowser one is poor even i have beat that.
