so if u r a gamer out there just trying to get in to win a game then, stop, and listen to this. u ain't gonna win for spamming rubbish. try and actually write something decent (unlike this) but don't get your hopes high remember there are loads and loads of other people writing in as well so it has to be really good to win.
stop and let the power of chating to decent people into your heart, and don't just try and win something without seeing the point of it.
ps. if this wins gad goddamnit, i'm not even trying to win. i am passing out vital info to gad winner wannabes.
thanks 4 reading, Afro.
But I never gave up and really started to have fun with it and writing my opinion and seeing others react to it which was very satisfactory. I then came to post, have fun and not try to win Gad 24/7.
It is very hard to win and no one can post their first piece ever and win easily as it takes time to find out what it takes. but it is worth the effort in the end.
Some people take competitions like this, way too seriously and really get out of hand when they don't win or whatever.
But this place is just for chatting and having a laugh with people you haven't nesserssarily (argh) met and exchange opinions and resolve differences, so basically being civilized. I mean, what could be more fun than playing a magic game and then discussing it with others as well? It is very fulfilling as a gamer who needs to express their points of view while having fun at the same time.
Some people get a little carried away and spam after they have missed out on a GAD spot a couple of times. So just cos they lose out they are driven to wrecking the forums and spoling everyones fun. I find now the best place to talk about your consoles is the forum in which your favourite company or game is based in. Spamming has lead to FOG (Chat) and sometimes prime being clogged up with things that don't have anything to do with the future of gaming.
I think the new 2 GADs could be a very good thing and help people who have come so very close before that edge and if they specialize in review (like me) they might stand a chance against a topic that is a awesom idea, once in a blue moon. It could be a bad thing and people might get greedy and not respect the competition or people running the forums anymore.
SO that's what I think of Gad and the forums.
Cheers

>ps. if this wins gad
