I have only played ssx3 but I have heard that 1080* was really good

In 1080 avalanche is it still really rewarding when u manage to pull off a 1080 like in the N64 version??? And are the controls still as insane? if so then im taking tony hawks underground back to the shop and exchanging it for avalanche!!!!!

Yeah Tricky is a class game...

And Avalanche is also a class game... and owning both Avalanche wins every time.

SSX3 (the game I think they should have called S3X) is pretty fun, but if you wanted to choose which to get, it all depends on how much of a serious game you want.

Avalanche is a pretty serious snowborder with some fun elements, while SSX is just wacky all the way through.

Why not compromise and get Avalanche then a cheap copy of SSX Tricky instead, to be honest there isn't that much difference between Tricky and SSX3 and you'll be able to get the earlier game a lot cheaper now.

1080 is fantastically good fun. SSX dies after you go past the flashy extirior.

Hrmm...I'd think you'd probably get a bit more life out of SSX3, but 1080 is actually just as good...
