What are the odds on a penalty being given in this match?

Surely you want England to do well as an international football force? Otherwise people will say the English league is only good because it's full of foreigners.

Am I the only Englishman who doesn't care if England win, lose or draw?
Don't get me wrong, I'm a football fan - I just think club football is where it's at.

Germany have never lost a World Cup qualifying match when they've been playing on home soil.

Never.

(Hope we ruin their little record, heh heh)

Well I think this will be a gritty match between the players and the fans and it won't really resolve their rivalry at all. The german players say how puny Michael owen or David beckham are and this game is all pride now. But if England don't manage to beat Germany and maybe beat Albania then they can get second and that would mean playing the leaders of quite an easy group featuring Blearus and Ukraine. But this match is more important than that and pride is at stake and germans need to be taught. Lets hope it is a clean match eh?

There is no question that this will be a very atmospheric match and the fans for either side will play a big part on the end result of this intense game. Hopefully the fans won't riot a little too much, I mean 50 English fans with weapons were stopped at the airport so hopefully there won't be as many influences to start a fight.
Also the english hotel is next door the Germans biggest pub which could be a problem before the match.

The starting line up..probably..

GK-- David Seaman.
DL-- Ashley Cole.
DR-- Gary neville.
DC-- Rio Ferdinand.
DC-- Sole Campbell.

ML-- Steve mcmanamon. (ARGH)
MR-- David Beckham
MC-- Paul Scholes.
MC-- Steven Gerrard.

SC-- Michael Owen.
SC-- Emile Heskey.

I do hope that both sides will make it through to the main world cup so that England can woop the Germans in the semis and then my guess is that they will get flattened by France or Brazil. I don't think England are gonna win the world cup this time around and they might not even get past the start of it.

SO I hope it successful for us and we do the best in the future! We will succeed again and win championships and other trophies and above all beat are rivals that make fun of our not so amazing team!

Cheers

Nah, i was born in England but am from an asian descent.

I've only been supporting Argentina since World cup 98. I was supporting England during that comp, but when they went out the tournamont it felt empty. I liked the style of the way the Argentines played, so i supported them for the rest of the tournamount. I really liked ortega as a player, hence my name.

The main reason i support them is becasue of the rivalary between them and England. Its great. And when i'm wearing thier shirt it get a great reaction among english people:-) I've got the home and away shirts and i wear them all the time. Ortega 10 on the home shirt and Batistuta 9 on the other.

All i'm hoping for is some hard-core ruckas between the germans and the english. Apparently there is gonna be 8 hours of drinking time before the match...
