The Official Remote control was supposed to be launched on the 31st of August priced £19.99 and comes with a CD containing the latest DVD/CD drivers which add features such as reverse slow motion three speeds of fast foward and rewind and has four playback options added such as repeat, shuffle, program, A-B repeat and adds a time remaining display these drivers will also get rid of lip synching problems and fixes the problem with some DVD's not working all of the drivers are saved to the memory card like the original japanese version. All the new features mean that you need to get the offical control to be able to use them and Software First allready are taking pre orders for the remote control so if you just cant wait to blow your money then go there but if you want to save it then wait and get it from special reserve.

It's probably not even out yet because SR don't have it in stock do they.
Or do they?

you need a memory card ......so i assume that the new drivers are loaded onto that......cheek

It comes with a DVD driver update too, which I fancy, but I allready have a remote that I like.

Hopefully a mate will get one, then I can borrow the disc.

Yeah, i just been down Ox St too, and theres nowt. :-(
But if you say someones got one, then at least we know they're shipping. Shouldn't be long to wait.

i have tried all the major stores in oxford street...and no luck ...i then tried a small retailer in my home town who says he has got them in
