are you all insane? £20 for a remote?...yes ok and a cd that might come with it to upgrade the dvd playback but still £20?!

point it down?? i've never had to do that

I never got a remote for the PS2 because The unofficial ones aren't exactly that great and the joypad seems to work good enough.

The offical one however looks very sweet indeed and comes with a CD which saves the new driver to your system config on your memory card.

I got a remote control but I dont really see the point.You always have to point down to the PS2 to get something to happen.Its so much easier to use a joypad.Mind you that would make the room a bit more messy

I have already got one, not a sony one, it only cost a £5 from France, i would not mind this CD to upgrade the DVD though.

well when i went into my local eb store....
the bloke there said the remote wouldn't be out until mid-october....sigh...anyway for the time being i can make do with the free remote i got given...
