I am thinking of starting up an internet gaming clan, representitive of Special Reserve and exclusive to Special Reserve members. I am looking for online players over any level who would be able to play on a reasonably regular basis. I also thought that if we have a fair ammount of players, having team battles and rankings for games. So, what will it be? If you would like to join, tell me.

Does anyone play UT with a 56k modem?

I'll say this again...[oV] is staying independant from any SR clan - forum people are welcome to join us if they want, but we aren't associated with the SR clan.

I'd recommend you go with UT and counter-strike as 2 main games, mainstream, but there's plenty of others you could try in branching out...if you're only doing it for a laugh, don't worry about spending all your time getting good at a game, just play what you enjoy.

I wont be on much, NTL seem to have exploded - cable modems are down, as is the dial up, ntl.com, and all their support lines...

Right, lets just choose *one* game and stick with that. I don't care what game, just as logn as we come to an agreement. Whatever game we all choose, I will buy. Then we can start talking about making an SR clan, or joining Goatboys... or wehatever we are going to do.

I haven't played any online-games so I wont be the one choosing. I think we should go by the choices of Sniper, Reaper, Goatboy and the like.

wow, wow, wow! The best online game I know is "Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear", I got an email today saying that the US military are using the game to train their Spec Ops soldiers. The game is cheap to buy and I could easily create a SR clan on it.

[UK] my clan BTW used to but it split but [UK²] is forming!

If you want to see me kick a99 and have UT it's a 104 mb download for this but it's well worth it, even reaper will begin to hate CS it's called tactical ops and i'm in a clan for it.
Or maybe we could try out a UT or Quake 3 clan?

Yeah, it's going to be like that for a few more weeks, then I'll have my own PC (hopefully)
