Hey people, just a quick question, can anyone give me any pointers for getting an Animation package to make .GIF banners, etc.... cheers.

The best program to get is Macromedia Fireworks 4.
Personally, I use Animation Shop 3 (a program which comes with Paintshop Pro 7 which is about £50). It's ideal for the things you want to achieve and comes with lots of extras such as image transitions (really cool effects). It also supports lots of other animation file formats (which allows me to convert .avi anims made in 3ds max4 into web-suited gifs). Naturally, you can get it from your favourite mail-order company - Special Reserve!
