the morell: call that number in the back of your instruction booklet and get your free pad if you want it. i would like to thank nobbly flagpole and the other guy for the idea.

by the way what is the difference between dual shock 1 and 2?

I had the same problem, but it was on both my pads but sony would only replace one of them, this was because i got only one pad with the console so the warranty ran out on the other. Damn.

I didn't make anything up, my problem was real - it was with the rubber grips on the analog sticks coming loose.

i deserve to get it free because i paid a big sum (300) for the console.
