I don't believe it, but mild, monkey-mad man, Meka, is actually right...

About 'Super Monkey Ball'...

Many of you may have 'shooed' this game to the side in favour of StarFox and Smash Brothers, but in essence, the game is everything a game should be. The gameplay is simple, yet very trying... easy to learn VERY hard to maste... there are over 100 levels, similar in looks maybe, but they're no easy feat. There are 3 main multi-player modes, which include racing, Mario Kart 128 style, Boxing and... hand-glide dropping (drop monkey on target etc) But not only that, and not only do these modes have power ups and obstacles...but this game which was dubbed 'a quick, easy chas in for Sega to make up lost money' has a mini games section where you can play Tennis, Pool, and Golf... and more! You use the monkeys, in their balls as the corresponding balls...

Man the whole game looks and sounds ace! It is definitely first on my list. SSB: Melee can wait and StarFox can too, this game looks ace and it'll give me an excuse to spend £60 on another 2 controllers!

But honestly, the features and options are great, it seems as though the title is DEFINITELY worth £40... The graphics are great, the gameplay is reputed to be the best out of all the SW2001 titles and the design is sooo simple 'it could make Shigsy smile all day'.

You've got to download a video, the game looks fantastic... I can't wait to get a copy!

Sorry this post is a bit rushed, but it was 'straight from the heart' and full of emotion... seriously though... you gotta look at it!

Yes, especially with the slight multiplication of controller ports when compared to its nearer, existing rival. Also, Ninty games have been renowned for their distinctive multiplayer fun.

Hey, it's our first multiplayer game.

We Ninty's are very sensitive about our multiplayer games if you don't mind.

Monkey Ball is one of my "must have" games.

A neat multiplayer to accompany DK Racing and Smash Brothers.
Don't go choosing it for gameaday though.

It might be packaged with the console or it might come in a special multiplayer bundle.

Here's to the first multiplayer game on the Cube. :-)

I find that even more ironic, coming from a man who owns the console with possibly the LEAST NUMBER of ORIGINAL titles EVER.

Of course I'm right!

Really, need you ask? ;-)

Super Monkey Ball is more than just a puzzle game due to the large number of multiplayer options available in the game.

And multiplayer is something seriously lacking in many of the other anticipated games, such as Luigis Mansion, Rogue Leader, Pikmin...

It doesn't sound all that great to me. Anyway, you can't be sure it will sell, games that should sell all the way to number one in the charts occasionally don't. Like Giants for example, it was a great game but it didn't sell nearly as well as it should have thus leaving many gamers lacking in it's enjoyable experience. Though it should have had more Mecc levels.

Don't see why though - they both make shallow pap.

I find it mildly ironic that a hardened Ninty is getting more excited about a Sega game than any Nintendo offering at the launch of the 'Cube.

Tee hee hee.

Oh, believe me, it will sell.

It's a simple game, and one that could retail for substantially less than games like Blue Storm and Luigi's Mansion.

Hopefully, people will realise that there is A LOT more to the game that controlling cool monkeys round a graphically sound, steady-frame rate level. There are SO many features it's un true... it looks like a Mario Party beater... it could be the "kiddie game of the Gamecube launch" especially with SSB: Melee being rated T - (Teen 13+)

I think it'll do well...
