"128MB or 256MB Radeon 9600"

I am getting a new graphics card and the place I am getting it from has a 128MB and a 256MB Radeon 9600. The 256MB card is only £8 more expensive but I was thinking why is there only £8 difference? have they left something off the 256MB card or what? Any advice would be much appreciated.

The rest of my system is:

P4 3GIG 800FSB
1GIG DDR RAM
And some Gigabyte Motherboard

I am getting a new card because the old one is dead. I don’t want to spend more than £120 on a new one. I don’t want a Gforce Card so I think I’m limited to this one unless anyone has a suggestion?

Ahh, penny sweets - Those little softish apple things are nice, the ones with sugar on them, as are those prawny things.

Cola bottles of any shape/sugar levels/sweet or sourness rule.

I reckon it'll cope with HL2 at max settings, although you might have to sacrifice a few graphical niceties with Doom 3. All depends on what the rest of your system is, obviously.

Some students in my college boycotted Cadbury. Can't remember for what though.

Um what - 2 chews x 400 = 800? Or was it something else? My debugger says NIL errors.

Dunno, I can't tell you what isn't possible yet. But yeah, seeing as the dev is catering for DX6 as minimum, it should be near max. on 9600s. At least I hope so, because I have one.
