I bought the new N64 mag today (out today - 28/08/01), the free gift is a little book about the GameCube which is pretty good. Inside Mario Kart Super Circuit (and the chance to win one), SSX Trickery, Super Street Fighter II X Revival for the GBA, Madden 2002, Star Wars Rouge Leader, Galleon, a new Skill Club, you can win a day out at Acclaim to play on the GameCube and WIN a GameCube!(by making a model of Luigi).

On one double page it has a picture of a scrambled up mag front cover with the words underneath:-
INCREDIBLE NEW LOOK UNVEILED NEXT MONTH - 24/09/01
I think this means N64 mag will be changing it's name to something to do with the GameCube, maybee
GameCube magazine
GC Magazine

post any more ideas here or if anyone else has an idea of what the new look might be post it here.

kingklick i tried sending you the pic of the scrambled up mag but the file wouldn't attach to the e-mail so i gave up. it's gonna be hard cutting it up and sticking together on the pc as the pieces are very small.

Thanks Joe.
I don't have most of those games but I could qualify for a Bronze or silver. I got gold in the old skill club but that was when the challenges were easy.

1:12 is my fastest time in deathrace, you can get three or four off at a time if you time your 'nudges' right. And try and get most of them off right at the beginning. The last few will take the longest.

Did anyone try doing the challange in the last skill club for F-Zero X? it was so hard, you had to do the death race in 53 seconds! that's impossible, the best i could do was about 3 mins. did anyone else try doing this, and did you succeed? aslo did anyone try doing the mario kart one in the last skill club, (koopa troopa beach) that was rock hard, even using the short cut i was 25 seconds off.

Hey, Indinian Dude, would it be ok if you just sent me the scanned pciture of that page? Coz then I plan to rearrange it in Photoshop (rather than cutting it up) and will post it on the net for everyone else to see. :)

I've managed 4 challenges (Smash Brothers, Zelda Majoras Mask, Goldeneye and Lylat wars were all easy)

And Mario Tennis will be a piece of cake once I borrow it.

The F-Zero, Mario Kart, and Perfect Dark challenges are a nightmare.

I've got 3 immpossible cheats to unlock on PD and 2 impossible times on the racing games...

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
