Absolutely nothing actually...
Nowadays, when Rare or Nintendo releases a platform game you expect huge levels with great graphics. It wasn’t like that for some years ago.
Take Mario 64 for example. When it was released it had simply levels. A lot of levels with flowers and grass and bouncing murder balls. It also had some water and snow levels. But, it had some original levels too. The clock world, the ghost world and the tiny/giant world. People didn’t need much to be pleased then.
But then Banjo-Kazooie came: Rare’s first platform game to the N64 was set to push down Mario from the throne. Rare mixed up a lot of old worlds along with some fresh new ones. They also started with a jungle world with talking ants and mean Goblins. Then a water world. Then another water world that was a little more original than the old ones. Then it’s started to be interesting. They made a swamp world, a desert world, an original snow world and on top of it a great, funny ghost world. The magazines didn’t mean that Banjo-Kazooie was better but I certainly do.
Then the so called Legend of Zelda showed up: People were absolutely delighted over it’s graphic and great gameplay. We can’t call this an platformer but it had some interesting worlds. The Death Mountain, Desert Colloseous, Lake Hylia, Gerudo Fortress and much more made it into almost every Nintendo owner favourite game. It was awesome and still is.
What was next? Oh, yes, Donkey Kong: The old hairy ape was finally back to kick some asses. It had great graphics back then and still has. Donkey Kong was very much like Banjo-Kazooie just that Rare had putted on some extra original levels. The two most original was a level where you could change to moon or sun and a level set in a crystal cavern. It also had some more original levels.
Then we´re switching over to Banjo-Tooie: After a long time in piece, Gruntilda is back and Banjo and Kazooie have to stop her again. This game has the most brilliant levels ever such as a coal mine, a theme park and best of all, a giant cheese in the sky. Games can´t get any more original than that.

Inferiority complex, no doubt? Actually what I mean is it is unusual for a JAT to be complementay to other people. I was actually complimenting him.
But nor should I have to explain myself.
