Is ATV offroad better? I've wanted excitebike64 for sometime now + I want it so I can maybe enter the GOTY comp with a bit of a chance, I guess i'll have to read some reviews.

thats not a good thing then. I think Bomberman lost a lot of gameplay when it went 3d, It was the best game i owned on my Amiga, we somehow managed to get 4 people around my keyboard back then, great fun! I'm looking forward to playing excitebike64 on a 4 play multiplayer match, as Goldeneye and 'Beach' on Conker's BFD seem to be the best multiplayers I have at the moment.

bomberman is one of the most addictive if you got alot of people, depending what version you can have 4 or five players, it gets quite frantic and you may nee to soundproof your living room to shield the neighbors from the cries of pain as you get fried by a bouncing poo bomb (official name rubber bomb) or end up with dihorrea (spelling??) and leave a trail of 7 bombs behind you , only to find that your little monkey of a brother has trapped you and you now look like a burger that's been cooked by my gran!!!

8 players! cool, they did that with the Master System, back then you had to share a controller with a mate! still, it was great fun!
I think i'll have to recommend the 2 multitap thing to my mate, hes a big Micro machines fan....Doh

With Micro Machines v3, two multitaps and enough controllers you can have eight players - it's a laugh riot!

Nearly all the games are 4 player?
I doubt that.

Anyway, when people go to buy a 4 player machine, they'll more likely go for the one with 4 ports.

Besides, the N64's still better at multiplayer games :-p

Well, I know I see it as a 4 player machine, and nearly all the games ARE 4 player.

So the PSOne backwards compatibility limited the PS2 to 2 player games?

I know that with a multitap that it CAN do 4 player but people don't see it as a 4 player machine.
