Considering asking for an Xbox for Christmas at very short notice due to your ramblings of it in this forum. Damn you all.

What are the essential Xbox Live games?

I'm talking about the ones which actually have decent online play and alot of variety online. Because I'll be purchasing mainly for Live, so not wanting to get bored of it quick.

I admit, I'm not 100% certain, but I think that will be the case. Have you tried preregistering your area for ADSL? It might not be as bad as you think, you may have a trigger level.

Sadly it won't. Satellite BB only gives you downloads. To upload, and hence to surf as you need to send information, works through a normal phone line. So you get stuck with the same upload speed. Which is just like a modem.

Heh, that's actually very funny :-)

Anyway, it's something like sattelite BB, no wires involved anyway. Hopefully it should work for Live, I'll just have to wait and see.

It's a *shudder* LOCAL server. Set up for this piece of crap community I'm part of. Not sure what type it is, just know it isn't cable. Something to do with those things in the sky...

Crimson Skies seems to get pushed aside once you get R63. Haven't touched my copy at all since i got R63.

Live is much better than I ever dreamed it would be, and with mass killing coming tomorrow, Matt looks forward to it muchly.

In the last 10 days I've spent, I'd say, 40 - 45 hours on X-BOX, most of which have been on Live.

Without the headset, however, Live is ordinary.
