I don't know how the PC games market survives. Firstly PCs are 10x the price of a dreamcast and what more do you get out of them. Nothing. Pcs are much more unreliable, they advance so quickly that you have to check the system requirements (another downside) of every new game just to make sure it will work on your PC. On a console you can just see any game that has the consoles name on it and you know that it will work perfectly. PCs may be better for some games like RTS and occationally FPS but overall I think PCs should be burnt and everyone should have an internet ready TV or internet console and a word processor.

Yep Ive played AOE 2 (AOK) Red Alert 2 Emporer online but nothing else cos the only good PC games are RTS games. I prefer my dreamcast with PSO no lag either

True, UT on the PC is a hell of a lot better than the ports on the PS2 (serious slowdown) and the DC (lack of battle mode and no release at all in the UK), but overall console online gaming is just so much more convenient. Plus there are no hidden extras like having to buy a faster modem, a better graphics card and extra memory, all of which have cost me over £340 in the last year just so I could get UT and Deus Ex running how the developers wanted it to run.

That's an extra expenditure of £170 per game, whereas with Quake III on the DC it cost me £29 for the game and that was it. Now that specs for PC games have recently taken another slight jump, I'm sticking to consoles and making do with my current range of PC games to keep me going.

Cos PC games last longer cos of online gaming, Map makers and modders!
And anyway conversions aren't always better than the originals look at UT it worked out better on the PC!

It's dead if you upgrade to Windows ME and then find out that most of your PC games aren't compatible.

I kinda agree, having played both, that the simplicity of the pick up and play style of the console is much easier to get along with. And you never end up buying a game that doesn't work on your PC forcing you to either resell it or upgrade.

And yes Sniper I have played Quake III, Phantasy Star, F355 Challenge and Speed Devils, all online, all with a Dreamcast.

10/10
Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Second to none...
So far the services you provide are second to none. Keep up the good work.
