How many virtual beings do you think you've killed in your gaming history? Hundreds? Thousands? Tens of thousands? Millions?!!

The question is: What type of virtual being do you most enjoy killing?

Humans?
Aliens?
The Undead?
Monsters?
Wild Dogs?
Other?

Also, which one moment of slaughter looms largest in your memory?

Killing humans has to be the best. Because of the image it portrays when you shoot someone in the head - there head jerks away from the impact in a shower of blood and their head wobbles about patheticly on their neck until they fall to the ground still spouting blood from the entry wound...brilliant...:OP

It's the best feeling in a first-person like Perfect Dark.

Shocktrooper - positively blood thirsty :P

Killing humans using strategy and skill is always good fun. And killing your mates is good too.

Although, in Goldeneye, you can set a remote mine

have you tried throwing a mine at someone in perfect dark? it sticks to them! all the different mines have their rewards, Proximity sets off when two sims meet!

Must say I enjoy killing humans more than anything else - Is that sick??

Have to agree that sneeking up behind guards in Metal Gear Solid 2 and seeing them squirm is great!! Then aiming right between the eyes!!
I cant wait for Soldier of Fortune to appear on DC - Ive never played it before so I eagerly await taking off others limbs one by one!! Only the glory of video games!!

My favourite 'massacre' was one of the more recent games, the end boss fight on Skies of Arcadia for the Dreamcast. In true RPG style, it ain't over till it's over, and just when you think you've finished the boss off, up pops another incarnation with different attributes and you have to think like mad about what spells and attacks and specials to use on it to keep your party alive.

The first time I beat it was a relief, the battle had lasted 2 and a half hours, and I finally got to the end of the game. There was no blood or gore or anything like that, just a great challenge combined with a strong will to win that got me through it.

Alternatively, getting a nuke to use in Command and Conquer was quite fun, you could do some real damage to your enemy's base with that, again it was bloodless graphically.

I'm currently playing Soldier of Fortune, which quite rightly gets an 18 rating, as it's very graphically detailed (there are 26 hit points on the enemies, and it's kinda fun working out where they all are with a sniper rifle, because each time you hit one the enemies react differently by either hopping on one foot, looking around for their arm, grabbing their nether regions, gurgling and choking on their blood filled throats, grabbing their shoulders to prevent bleeding to death or just simply having their heads explode with a nice spray of brains and blood against the wall behind them. It all depends where you hit them. Oh well, only another 20 hit points to find...)

Sneaking up behind the guards in Metal Gear 2 and then saying gook-ah!....thats my japanease "freeze"...and then pointing my UPS at there forhead and watching them dance like scared little piggies before i shoot them in the knee....then i let them try to hobble away then i shoot their other knee....they fall to the ground and start squirming on the floor...i'll watch them squirm for a while and then let rip shooting them causing blood to splatter across the walls.

to much detail?

My all time favourite is being Invisible on Metal Gear still, and just punching them, knocking them unconcious and then snapping their punny little necks. I know MGS2 is more realistic and I'm glad to hear, as how many people do you know that get punched in the face from an invisible hand and then 3 seconds later just go on like nothing has happened?
