The sticks look a bit small... and the start select buttons might become a problem during play, getting in the way of the shape buttons. Other than that, maybe worth getting.

i really dont see it catching on because it increases troubles with hand eye as the two parts are never stable.

however, i would like to see one of those controllers that has the d-pad side on a hinge. on driving games, you unsporing the lock and turn it up and down like a steering wheel.
*unless ive been having strange dreams, in which case i call patent pending...*

The one-handed bit actually looks pretty smart, would be useful for RPGs when there's boring dialogue bit - frees up the other hand for snacking or other, unsightly, things.
But the controller together (both bits) would probably just come apart when you get pished off.

It would certainly satisfy your anger if you threw the pad at a wall and watched it snap in two - safely!
