The GBA gets Sword of Mana and Sabre Wulf.
As surprised as I am to find myself admitting it, I guess this shows Ninty have a good grasp of their marketting strategy, it just surprises me that they bunch big releases together like this, at least when it's not christmas. Surely they'd take sales from each other?
Ah well, they probably make that up with console sales...
the version she played was japanese..apparently it was extremely good.
It IS a Final Fantasy game, though, and is also, typically, massive and filled with wads of text. Hence it taking so long to arrive anywhere else. I think the US should get it soon, then Europe about 2 or 3 months further down the line, due to translations into German, French, etc.

True, but there's still a lot of flexibility in how they time the releases in Europe. They could easily hold either back for a moth or two.
