I am wanting two accounts on Xbox Live so me and my brother can have seperate gamertags and records, etc. How would I do this? Would I need two starter kits?

yeah, but now he gets two headsets, which means, should he want, he can play two player matches online, with a headset each (e.g for top spin or mech assault). and it works out cheaper
Best way to do it is to have two kits = 2 headsets, 2 12-month free Gamertags, demos.
After the 12 months is up, its £40 a year. Which is the same as buying a kit.
If you didn't want a second kit, it would be just as easy to pay £40 for a brand new gamertag by setting up a second account on your Xbox via the dashboard.
