...does anyone else here use F2S as a MySQL Host???
Had any problems??? As I got...

Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'db.*******.f2s.com' (60) in /usr/freeola/users/*/*/sr*******/htdocs/MySQL.php on line 9
Couldn't Connect to Server Database

... and it took about a minute to get that.

(I've only put a * where my Freeola ID should be, as to not let people know my exact root directory or F2S Domain, just as security.)

I think the f2s MySQL servers will only accept connections from local servers, IE f2s itself. Therefore, you can't use it with Freeola. I had a similar problem before. Either that, or Freeola haven't compiled PHP with MySQL support.

There are a few free MySQL hosts around. Try searching Google.

Guess it's F2S then, can't access it unless it's though there site.

So, Freeola, still against adding MySQL to out sites??

Continue this excellent work...
Brilliant! As usual the careful and intuitive production that Freeola puts into everything it sets out to do, I am delighted.
Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
