I don't have live (yes i am deprived)we have broadband. my dad won't let me get it because he recons that if i'm on live then he won't be able to use the net or the phone, is this what happens

some run on infra red

Wireless aren't that expensive, notorious and hedfix have bought them recently, I think they are about 60-70 quid, but you obviously need to set them up differently.

it doesn't matter, you could just get very long ethernet cables.
