I've also seen a PAL version of Animal Crossing from a CD retailer.

Soul Calibur II, Judge Dredd vs. Judge Death and Buffy: Chaos Bleeds are just 2 examples of decent `multi-format“ games listed as only "PS2 & Xbox". :P
When will things change, eh?!
Just competiton is stiff these days and SR just aren't always as cheap.
