"New Mario and Zelda games revealed"

No screenshots available as of yet, but probably by the end of the day.

Mario Sunshine (title may change) is the sequel to Mario 64. Mario was seen running along a rooftop, and through a tropical area, with some kind of glass 'thing' on his back!

Apparently it's the best looking game so far, and it's scheduled for a Summer 2002 japan launch.


Zelda apparently has a more cartoony look than previously, using a cell-shading technique previously seen on the Dreamcasts Jet Set Radio.

It's directed by the same guy that did Majora's Mask, so expect a dark storyline.

This one's due for Christmas 2002 in Japan.

Wonder what you'll do when you actually get to own the console :D

But is it as good as the demo we had some time ago?

i saw those 3d demo a few months back aswell , and t be honest i thought they looked better , even though the cartonny one looks pretty good (actually gobsmackingly good !!) i still like the 3d atmosphere that we had with the other versions. i just hope it's better than majoras mask , that game was just too hard for me !! i got bored within the first 5 mins of playing it (although i still played it for a while up to the gerudo fortress bit in that big lake , i wish shigsy was doing it , when he does them it just has that little extra special touch !!

I actually think it is, there so much detail and its so smooth, you have to watch it to realise how good it is.

No, I haven't seen it in motion. They probably do improve a lot more when they are in motion. But is it better looking than the 'realistic' demo we had of Zelda some time back?

Have you actually seen it moving thought TTF, I saw the screenshots and thought it looked crap, but then I saw a video clip and my pants turned brown with excitement.
