"1080 or SSX 3 ?"

I've read that 1080 is more simulation than the "arcadey" SSX3, and as I want it for the races as well as tricks just wondered which you thought was best.

Sad to read that the Cube version has some tricks missing due to the controllers "lack of buttons"

Opinions please, which one shall I buy tonight ????

I don't like to have to put down 1080, but on Gamerankings.com, the average scores are:

1080: 76.2%

SSX3: 92.7%

Really, 1080 is NOT worth £40

SSX 3 is a shallow... OTT annoying game that doesn't nothing to beat it's pretty decent predecessor.

1080 is a slick, enjoyable and different experience all together that is shorter but in that short period you get a great game... the same period on SSX3 is frustrating by the end of it.

No No...SSX3 all the way. I have 1080 and loved it, until I completed it four hours later.

Get SSX3. Longer, funner, better music... Much more worth £40.

1080 is a superior game... short but VERY fun and replayable.

that confirms what I've heard, will be getting 1080 unless I get hit by lightning before 5pm tonight.

If you want a snowboarder that's more "serious" and about racing, go for 1080.

But if you wants something that's more... un-realistic and "arcadey", go for SSX.


I've only played 1080, so, that's all I can say, really

SSX 3 is very big, plus it's a great game for the first few hours. After a while it starts to get dull though.
