Why DO some people clean their teeth before breakfast?

Whats the point cleaning, then going downstaris and having some food, then going off to work with bits of cornflakes wedged in your mouth?

Back to teeth, I clean them after breakfast, if I have it, and hate food in my teeth.

Altough, sadly, my hygienist told me to cut down on fizzy drinks and start brushing my teeth twice a day :-(

I clean my teeth before breakfast quite often!
But thats largely due to the fact that I have breakfast 5-6 hours after getting up.

Mine is a healthy lifestyle :-)

They were supposed to look like teeth :-)

I agree YH - I never clean my teeth in the mornings, only at night.
