I went to The States and ended up on a train through what I learned was one of the most "non-white areas" in Washington.
Got off and just walked about, didn't get any grief.
Sure, I was the only white face there and gangs of guys on corners and outside stores - but I gave no attitude and presented no threat and nothing happened to me whatsover.
Down in Missisippi though was different.
They are still pretty much segregated down there, and I got a few nasty comments for sitting in a black section.
I basically told them what I thought, and my Uncle (from Kentucky) told me not to and we just left.
he said "Don't mess with these rednecks, they'll shoot you for even talking to a black here"
Culpepper County.

To survive a Ghetto/Hood in America you would first have to be black, whites would nearly always get shot, unless you now Dre like Eminem. Then you would have to be in the right gang and thrid you would have to be built like a house!
