Is meeting new people.

I don't meet many new people in person due to my shyness, but on here I have met over 50 people I could call 'friends.'

All the Notables are good friends of mine (although I expect some of them will argue with this comment :D ) and I know a lot of regulars that visit the site.

Recently I've been talking to GasMask. He's now a great mate and I enjoy talking to him-I expect I would like him in person as well.

So basically, this is ANOTHER thank-you to SR for these forums, and for helping me to meet some new, great people.

Yes, that's a good thing. Note that MSN has also contributed to a lot of this "socialising", and that without it we cannot to talk to people "live". Mind you, it kind of sucks for me, as I like to think (a lot) before saying something.
