I'm a bit of a novice at the consoles and games but since I got the kids a PS2 for Xmas I am shopping around online for a couple of extra games.

There appears to be 2 different types of a game. Can anyone tell me what the Platinum version is and as it always appears to be cheaper than the "normal" version of the game is it inferior in any way?

Thanks

Thanks to "Monkey" and Reynolds for the help.

On the subject of platinum games (probably under £20) are there any online stores you would reccommend.

As stated in my first post I am a novice at this and would appreciate any help or advice.

It's no different from the game in it's original case, it's just been put on the Platinum range for people to get their hands on it for a better price.

So no, the game and everything is exactly the same apart from the casing it is in.
