Help a poor bloke that's been ripped off by a heartless corporation!

The barstewards at Packard Bell have built my PC with a bloody Winmodem (Rockwell HCF). Consequently, I can't access the Internet with Linux. Damn. Damn damn damn. ARRRRGGGGHHHH!

*Turbonutter starts atacking the wall until an unnerving crack appears in it*

So, if anyone wants to donate any modem that isn't a Winmodem to ease my plight, please E-mail me at [email protected] and I will be your best friend forever.

Surely a man who does all this 'freelance' work, such as yourself could push the boat out and splash out on a new one. They'll throw in a box and instructions too, I'm sure.

hey, while we're on the subject of people giving things away, can someone give me a fan for an AMD K7 Athlon Thunderbird 1GHz please, I'm gonna throw this one out the window if it doesn't shut up. I may have to do a McNab and sellotape a K6 fan to it!
