These are what I'd say are the best of their type on PSX:

Platformer: Spyro 3 - Year of the Dragon
Racing: Crash Team Racing
RPG: Digimon World 2003/Final Fantasy VIII
Shoot 'em Up: Quake 2
God/Reality Sim: Populous - The Beginning

Anyway, getting back to business...anyone else with lists of their fave games?

I shall say the PS then. Shorter and officially correct.

Retards and 7-year-olds say PSone.
Proper, normal people say PSX.

I hate the PSone.

Indeed it was the prototype name. I have many earlier various playstation and gamesmaster mags that called it "PSX" in the cheats sections for months after it came out.

Apparently, it retails for the Yen equivalent of over £600, but it's not available over here. So does that mean we're wrong to call the PS1 the PSX? Because that was a prototype name for the PS1, and besides, it sounds cooler :)
