I was looking in my local Computer Exchange and they were selling the consoles for £25 each. They had a few games, but is it worth buying one? Which one is better?

But is there any point? Mario Kart is coming on the GBA and Donkey KOng Country I already have on the GBC!

Maybe I should get a megadrive.

Its worth buying a SNES for MarioKart, I have a US Snes with a US MarioKart and its great (better than the UK version on a UK snes).

Mind you the UK version on a US SNES really flys, the graphics are a messed up a bit with my converter with this.

I'm still regretting taking apart one of my SNES games and plugging it into my SNES.

Prequels to zelda, you have to go all the way back to the first nes.

I'm going to buy a Snes for the 5 Mario games (All Stars + Mario World), Donkey Kong Country. These are all classics I used to play at friends house but never had time to go very far through them.

I also want to try out prequels to some N64 games:
Starfox, Metroid, Earthbound (Samus and Ness were on Smash Brothers) and Zelda.

I'll be going down the local second hand shop as soon as I have £20 spare.

I've tried to sell my Amiga in the past few weeks, and when I signed up to eBay, I thought I could do it, but I'm afraid the site requires your credit card details, and expects you to be over 18.

Now call me stupid, but i've just looked on an auction site - e-bay and found this:

UK SNES + 1 CONTROLLER + 6 GAMES

BID PRICE: £3.50

BID ENDS: 10 MINUTES!

I don't understand how this works. If I bid now, and no-body bid afterwards, would I get all that for £3.50?

Also is it reliable arranging for it to be delivered?

Does anyone use ebay often and can shed some light?
I'm all new to this!

My snes sits next to my N64 in my spare room. sure it aint good enough to come into my room and sit next to my PS2, but it is still a quality console. In my opinion much better than the mega-drive.

The snes is worth the buy for one game alone. Mario kart(if u can find someone mad enough to part with it). miles better than than the N64 version and heaps more fun.

But if u are talking about multiplayer than megadrive might be better. some of the carts come with extra ports already on them to play 4 player. i think micro machines had this. flippin quality.

I think the SNES was the best console of its generation, with some seriously quality games for it. I've still got mine hooked up next to my PS2....

But emulation is the (much cheaper) alternative... Yeah so it's illegal - who's gonna know?

I er, know someone, (yeah that's it ;-)) - who's got pretty much all the best Snes games ever made, including all the best import games released such as Seiken Densetsu 3, Mario RPG etc.

That's the way to go - just find an emulator with controller support, and you're laughing!
Like this - hahahaha...
