Can anyone tell me what the absolute maximum AMD ATHLON speed
is for the M7VIP motherboard?
can it get to 3Ghz?
Amd clocks faster though hence all the problems

3ghz is pushing it isnt it? A standard XP2800 runs just under 2.1 Ghz. So do you mean an XP3000?

Yes, if you have a Rev 1.1 motherboard.
or M7VIP Pro motherboard.
