my PS2 stopped playing all CD games so I had to go out and buy a new one (which is much nicer by the way, it has an inbuilt IR reciever and its much quieter than my old one). Not wanting to throw the old out as useless I've put the new one in my bedroom, so I can play DVDs and the occasional DVD based game.
PS2s breaking sort of sucks, but theres a silver lining... and I got Prince of Persia, The Mummy Returns and No One Wants to Live Forever (or whatever its called)and Jak II with it for £180
