Lucky me! Well, actually I am a lying, schemeing little get, but I am lucky as well so here we go...

My dad's hard drive was full. He bought a new one. I fitted it. I broke the motherboard. It could be fixed, I said it couldn't. I am now getting an upgrade :-) he gets my old stuff.

My hands are covered in little cuts!

My RAM has a deathwish for me. I've installed 2 SDRAMs and they've both nearly cut off my fingers!

Could try a hacksaw!!!!!!

Seriously thou, forgot about no isa slot. (even thuo I have an A7V) You need a new card (oops!)

no it's not anything like that, it's an ISA card and the new mobo's only got PCI slots!

I'll have to go get another tomorrow :-(

If you have a creative labs sound card, Put it in slot 3
and update the 4in 1 drivers to version v4.32.

yeah, you knew what I meant. I've decided to take your advice, i hadn't really read the info on the site I'm buying it off, so tomorrow I'm getting a A73, it's only £20 more! And it's not my cash!

I wouldn't "cry" to much. If the board is the A7V-E (don't think they do a K7VE. Its a cut-down version of the A7V, and won't take the new 266mhz cpu's (133mhz FSB) and has ony 2 dimm slots. It is also very fussy about the type and make of memory.
