Look people. I have been a watcher of this stupid and pointless spamming in the chat forum, and I am not that bothered by any of it because people right remember a few months ago I was banned because of spam in the Worlds Longest Thread.

I am seeing many users start pathetic topics just for spam..

Actually, people who are enjoying ruining the forum, please continue to spam, it will lose your reputation and hopefully get you banned.

Like I said, there is a spam thread on this site, we will keep the spam in there, but most of us don't want to spam any more! We've had enough of spam and want it to stop, we don't to see any idle threats of you will be banned becuase we have decided to keep the spam lid shut.

At last someone has said it. What is spam anyway. It's really annoying. The other thing is should you be allowed to set up a fake competition? Where people spend hours entering subjects only to find out they can't win anything?

I found last night rather frustrating, there was too much spam. There were too many spam related topics last night and I'm glad that Turbonutter came in and stopped us all from making things any worse. We decided that the spammers would keep the spamming in 1 topic which is the spam thread. The reason why a couple of threads last night were posted was because the spam thread wouldn't open, so the people who spam created a new topic to spam in there, but things got out of hand and people started to spam here, there and everywhere. We came to a compramise which said that the spammers would not spam in any other threads apart from the spam threads and it would not happen until after midnight.

The spam squad members who were spamming would like to apoligize for last night, it got just too out of hand and we would like to apoligize for any inconvienence caused last night. We will keep the spam controlled if there is going to be any spam there is, Spam is just a bit of fun, it is not meant to be harmful or disruptive but last night it was. I spam when I need a break from gaming chat, but last night there was too much.

Im going to change my tagline, although I dont see how a tagline like min can really offend anyone...

and again im sorry if i offended anyone, it wasnt intentional... but I wont apologise for spamming, because everyone does it and we were trying to do it discretely so no one was offended....

and by the way there are now more ban the spammer topics than spam threads.... the irony in that eh! :-)
