What is this thing for the Playstation 2, a VR headset??? whatever it is, its getting a Jap release on 2001/08/09

Oh and does anyone know anything about the new PS2 with a built in harddrive and broadband + normal 56KB built in modem. I know the Americans are getting it this Novemeber, and it looks nice :-)

ive seen those, there not exactly the same , but they are basically those olympus vr glasses which you can get in argos and other places , but i dont think it lets you talk into it (the olympus one not the ps2 one.)

Yeah I heard of that.It should be cool.You will have to be pretty good in games not to get shocked

Have any of you heard about the pads that give you a shock, it sounds good, i saw it on dot tv, apparantly when you play some beat-em-up games and get hit you get a shock through pads thats that stick to your arm. This stimulates your hand and you find it very hard to hit back. Its also written about in PC format, if you want i can write out the short statement on it.

somebody found out it vibrates and sends messages to your vrain like "sony is great"

can you run round the house with it on ....that cable is long

The specs are made by Olympus the Controller has a D pad of some desription and the words "EYE TREK", theres also the "headphone" written at the bottom.

I think this means theyre VR glasses as oppossed to a headset.

Any other deductions from the new big picture guys???

What is it for? i imagine it is a thing that sits on your head with a screen, or is this wrong?

the headsets cool
