My question today is will the game cube be just as much of a shame than the n64 is????????

Well to be quite onest i think maybe it will be. But on the other hand the gamecube does seem to be more popular and talked about.

Basicly my point to you is will the gamecube end up like the N64 has?? Like the way N64 has now gone out of fashion and for the people who have spent money on n64 when it first came out, youll probley find most people have sold them and gone onto the Playstation. And you know the reason for this????? Becuase the N64 has gone down the drain!! No where now can you go out to a shop and buy a game of your choice!! Its the shops choice and you know why??? Because most shops have a maxium gaming of 10!! But thanx to things like special Reserve we can of a good choice of games!! But The only problem is people dont know about things like this so end up selling n64 and Buying"!!! Playstation!!

Will this happen to the gamecube as well thou. Well of course every console must come to an end i.e snes, and the very first nintendo, but i dont think the n64 has over stayed its welcome yet!! N64 was a big thing and should be still now!! I will be buying the gamecube and i just very hope it doesent go out has fast as the n64 has!!!

The Nintendo company will have contest with Playstation, just like n64 did have but PLaystion has just gone up and up and is still going up hill!

Finley i am a big Nintendo fan and so is alot of people but i can say i hope Gamecube lasts longer and grows bigger than n64 to just bet platstation!!!!!

Thanx for reading.....Jess

Well, i reckon that the Gamecube has the potential to be the biggest and best selling games console ever, as long as Nintendo and Rare and other great companies keep on bringing out loads of class games for it, and Nintendo market it in a competitive way, i reckon that £100-£125 for the Gamecube and £30-£35 for the games sounds about right, and i reckon that if they are marketed at these prices then Nintendo will once again dominate the console market, and keep on producing class games, but only time will tell, meanwhile if you want one you'd better start saving! i know i am! only 4-5 months to go!

I wouldn't say it's blinding, just the right choice.

Do you mean the 'pointless topic'? If so, check out the thread titled 'White dog poo'. :-)

GameCube will be better than n64 for one reason DISKS. Disks will mean bigger and better games for cheaper. The games will also be made quicker so no more 6 months per good game like on the n64.

I belive GC will be a huge sucsess. With Nintendo going to disks I think they have made a blinding choise.

It still has a few purchase-worthy games coming out over the next few months. But it's worth getting a GBA or another console, preferably the DC, if you've only got the N64 at the mo. Unless you're really busy with other matters over the next few months.

Not to mention that the Cube and it's games will be a hell of a lot cheaper than the N64 was.

The N64 was released at £250 with £60 a game!

I only got it once it was £100 with Goldeneye and the games rarely cost more than £40.

I suppose it was at Zelda's release when the N64 was at it's best.
