"How to find out My xbox DvD / Name / where it was made etc"

How do i find out:

1) Name apparently people have been telling me that there xbox has a name how do i find it out unless of course they've gone mad.

2) Hardrive do i have to open up to see what company's DvD player i have i suspect i do.

3) Would also like to see where it was made since people been saying theres a difference in this as well.

the name of your xbox is pulled from some games you may have saved, like champ manager, doa3 and maybe a few more. it's not preset and can be changed to what you like but it does have a habit of changing itself when it feels like it!

look on xbox-scene.com, they have pics of the drive trays etc so you tell which one you've got easily, loads of other good info on there also.

Well had a look last night mines called "Prancer" i think.

If this is true, my is aparently named after me.

The name above the X-box Pic in the Halo multiplayer screen?

I'm guessing it's just the name of my profile, but that was in small letters, and my 'xbox name' is in capitals

Note: Thanks to Dark Mark for helping me realise that.

The name's are directly related to other games on your Xbox.

For the displayed name on Halo on my Xbox is 'we' and my RTCW online username is 'we' at present.

My Xbox has decided to be called 'we'

I'm sure Dark Mark's is called 'We Love Texans'

I think the name is actually influenced by something, as opposed to it being set.

I could be wrong though.
