Hi guys,

as many of you are skeptical here I would like your opinion on one of my photographs I have taken on my last investigation:

Strange Light

It is the 2 photos at the bottom of the page.

Dan, the BPRG head investigator and myself can't seem to figure out what this is. I need everyone's opinions.

It seems too bright to be a dust particle and there were no reflective items up that high (we looked).

It would be great to hear your opinions and hopefully we can explain it away as a natural occurence.

Thanks

Looks like a small Xbox 360 logo to me :P

Have to say, I can see numerous little spots all over that photo (look to the upper right, there's a few faint ones on the wall). That particular one is presumably sticking out because of it's big contrast to the dark background, maybe caught more of the camera flash aswell?

Have to say I'm a sceptic, and I don't believe in ghosts, but it's odd that this spot is so bright.

The website, and HM in general, seem to actively look for valid and realistic reasoning before putting it down to anything "mysterious". It could be what you say, it could not be. Who knows? And that is what they are saying, not that it's a ghost....

That's why I kinda like the site.

I like how the website dismisses the obviously explanation with a nonsensical reason.

It looks like a digital camera's interpretation of light refraction. Not alot more you can say.

It is a digital compact Panasonic Lumix dmc-fz38. Automatic focus and a flash was used.

We did take several around that area but couldn't recreate it.

We are baffled as to what it could be.

EDIT: I will try and get it on the site, but unfortunately no way of taking a picture of the camera... A mirror may be handy :p

I'd really have to go and see the place first, wouldn't like to comment.

What type of camera is it, by the way? I can't see it in your equipment list, but it's very important to know what format the camera is (digital/slr etc)

I genuinely think it is a ghost.
