So what is it that makes the nation so addicted to the gameboy? For all of you who haven't heard of it, errrrrr....... no-one. I'll explain.

In a land long long ago when you I was young and you was evem younger there was no such thing as Playstations and Good pc's. We we're all stuck playing on Doom or minesweeper. And it didn't matter because we were happy, but then disaster struck and suddenly a new craze came along. This new craze was the Gameboy!!! Cheaper than it's riveal the Gamegear and a more wide and better choice of games then anything seen before it swept the nation and took us by storm. Now hundreds of years on it still remains one of the biggest selling console's in Britain if not the world, out selling the PS1 and PS2 put together. So I ask you. Yes you, what makes it so successful?

It's a bad idea to compare them to each other but they are both in the gaming market, you can't compare the money that each company makes off each console but you can compare how many items are being sold for the consoles.

I just think it's very silly to compare sales figures of the GBA to the PSX or the PS2.

There's price difference, there's the fact that essentially they are in different markets, there's the performance factors, there's the fact that there's no competition for the GBA.

Mars Bars far outsold Ford Sierras in 1998.

Hmm, that light shield I've just bought is a bit crap. It drains the batteries like a dracula sucks his blood, and the light it gives off is... distant.

I got my GBA yesterday and it rocks!!! I can't wait for games like Mario Kart Advance!! (I know it's changed it's name but I'm not certain what it changed it to, anybody know??) What makes the GBA a more brilliant handheld console is that it will be adaptable for the GameCube!!

Not to mention all of the new games that will be released on it, and that it is a fully mobile computer and the only 'next generation' computer that can run on batteries!!! You can't play the any other Next Generation console in the back seat of your car when you're travelling to wherever you are going!!!
