1. Getting out of the confines of the level:
This can be done on the peaks level but I'm not telling you how. Suffice to say that if you're getting shot at and you've checked everywhere, then look beyond the fences you shouldn't be able to go past.
2. People telling their team mates via MSN where the other team are.
If someone asks you where your teammates are, simply don't tell them or don't tell them if their team keep on miraculaously taking people out.
3. Laggy server host with obsecene amount of kills.
I'm pretty sure the host doesn't get any/ or at least not as bad lag when lag occurs - this means they will get shots off faster and generally be able to out-perform those who are experiencing lag.
If you find yourself on one of these servers it'll sometimes be a crap experience (ie you pull the trigger and nothing happens at the same time the host pulls the trigger and kills you).
This last one is not exactly cheating, but you should be made aware of it.

Yeah sometimes if you do something daring, and it fails or you get battered accomplishing it then it's time to find a spot and make the most of your one bar of health. :D
What's great about RS3 is that everyplace is accessible either by grenade of gun so no spot is truely safe. Repeat a tactic too many times and expect to have a few hundred grenades thrown at your favourite hiding place! :D
There's also a lot of fun to be had setting traps for people, the amount of people who will wait behind a door/in a corner for 30 seconds to catch someone out is very high on RS3, because that's the nature of the game.
If you find a set of people who play using a small degree of strategic camping then it's good. A whole load of people who just sit there without moving from spot to spot or occasionally going Rambo is not as much fun.
It's all about balance.
Teams who constantly charge in at one another get boring quickly too.
Also sometimes it's fun to 'out camp' those you know're camping. Sometimes that just leads to a draw though. ;D
