Now cheating I know exists on RS3:

1. Getting out of the confines of the level:

This can be done on the peaks level but I'm not telling you how. Suffice to say that if you're getting shot at and you've checked everywhere, then look beyond the fences you shouldn't be able to go past.

2. People telling their team mates via MSN where the other team are.

If someone asks you where your teammates are, simply don't tell them or don't tell them if their team keep on miraculaously taking people out.

3. Laggy server host with obsecene amount of kills.

I'm pretty sure the host doesn't get any/ or at least not as bad lag when lag occurs - this means they will get shots off faster and generally be able to out-perform those who are experiencing lag.

If you find yourself on one of these servers it'll sometimes be a crap experience (ie you pull the trigger and nothing happens at the same time the host pulls the trigger and kills you).

This last one is not exactly cheating, but you should be made aware of it.

I don't have a problem with campers. If I am not good enough to devise a tactic to beat the camper, then that is poor playing on my part. A camper will get me once and I will be ready for their cheesy tactics next time - if you catch them by surprise you'll have the advantage over them. Flashbangs and Smoke grenades can work well against them, as well as frags and RPGs. I don't have a problem with RPGs or .50 cals either. Sure, they can kill you with one hit, but a good player could still paste the .50 cal guy through the use of tactics.

The only problem I can see with it, is when people quite happily sit there, hidden behind something, and watch the clock tick down to 0, rather than joining in and trying to get a kill. It's pathetic and makes the game a chore.

I played some people who were cheating by going behind the fences on the peaks level. Sad, Sad, Sad.

This is probably why a random grenade out of a window can be so successful sometimes.

Yeah I've heard about that. I've seen it used once but I haven't seen it exploited apart from that one time so I'd forgotten about it.

There's also a glitch on garage that enable you to see through the wall and shoot people through it too. Oh and there's a glitch on Carnival that enables you to get onto the large green float and shoot people from the middle where they can't see you.

Oh the even though they've moved the cart on Peaks, the glitch is apparently still possible with the aid of someones head.

The best thing about the cart was coming along and seeing someone walking constantly on it. Before I knew about the glitch it was really weird.

"Hello this guy's walking on the cart with his back to anyone who'd be shooting him!?"

Yeah it's ok if you've got a guy who always camps. I remember someone phoning someone up to let the other team know the guy final guy was in the plane in the airport because the timer was still on 8 minutes!.

Yeah that's a really good trick, I did it someone under the stairs on presidio - it took three goes. Bouncing it just of the edge of the stairs so that it falls straight down next to the guy under the stairs!

Yeah it was. The patch moves the cart back a bit, although aparantly its still possible with two people.
