It's off to my mates tonight to try and be rapaired, but he said i was either looking at £70 for a new cd-rom, or i may have to buy a new one.
When i spent like £150 on the xbox i expected it to last alot longer then 14 months.
Any of you had any problems with the xbox?
(This is the first problem i have ever had with it)

Thats the boy, that big chunky grey thing that had to be rattled around to get it to work, once it got worn. I only paid 30 quid for SS2 though, as I knew the importer. :)
Happy days.

Of course. I rememeber doing the same type of thing to play "Super Street Fighter 2" on the SNES when It was first released. Its been a long, long time since I owned a console. :)
PS2, similar thing, wanted to be able to play USA/JPN games, this can be done with flip lid case - a flip lid case will NOT play 95% of copied games by the way, unless the total size of the files on the CD/DVD is less than 550mb.
