If it has the same strategic battle system as Tactics instead of turn based then FF12 has just become my most wanted game after Lu Pucelle and Star Ocean 3

I havn't heard much on star ocean 3.

I have played SO, the second story. But i havn't seen the original. does any1 know where i can find it?

Although dejap.com were doing a translation of it on the SNES but i don't think they finished it. Haven't been there for a while ever since i got Bahamut Lagoon and Tales of Phantasia translations from them

There are rumours that FF12 is going to be first person perspective. Its set in the world of Ivalice (as in FFTacticsAdvance) but appears to be the usual turn based, as opposed to strategic grid based, fight mechanics.

has anyone noticed that we english folk cant get the PS1 version of tacics unless you have a US machine. and FF12 will be a normal FF game.

I want to order ff tactics 4 ps1 from ebay. As far as i know, my PS2 is an english model, so will i need to buy anything extra to make tactics work and if so what are they??

i'm playing through FF7 again now :)
