Electronic Arts and Namco have today announced that the European version of R: Racing for the GameCube will ship with a free copy of Shigeru Miyamoto's Pac-Man vs. The multiplayer version of Pac-Man, which is exclusive to the GameCube, was also given away with other games in North America when it was released in December last year.

Well the PS" import reviews say the same thing - might look like Ridge Racer, might sound like Ridge Racer, but it is not. Supposdely the handling is more realistic (no more sliding around corners etc) and the game is story driven.
Personally I'll still get it anyway, never been disappointed by a Namco game yet.

No, but it's from the same developers, and with practically the same name. Oh, and it's a racing game. Which always helps.

I thought it had the original star wars arcade game on it? That's not in the full game is it?

Yes it did...
I got it 2 weeks before release and played the original Star Wars game and a demo of Rogue Squadron 3.
Just for Pac Man. Yup.
