How do, long time no see, to most of you anyway.

Straight to the point, think im having some problems with my Dualshock 2 pads, or, the ports on the PS2. The main problem comes with the analog sticks, they seem to want to work when im not even touching them, so while playing Pro Evo and Pele is zooming up the touch line, he desides to spin around and walk off the pitch to walk into the Ad boards, mighty annoying.

Also seems that if the wire happens to be swinging or slightly moving around the port it wants to do something daft too. The problem seems to be just around the analog sticks. Works fine other than that usually.

Think it might be a case of the sticks being slightly off set a little, and that sometimes effects it.

Usually if i blow some air into the ports though to get rid of the dust it does the trick, but then starts off again for more Pele being a fool moments.

My PS2 is out of warranty too, and i dont want to have to buy a new set of pads or pay for repair, im a poor little student....

Anyone else have these problems?

dont think rattling matters. clunking does though.

as for you pro evo. it's unlikely, but sometimes after ive done a 360, the stick gets stuck. maybe your stick was stuck and you pushing other buttons overrid the command until you stopped pushing the other buttons?

Same here. Then again, you can see through to the Rumbler, and I'm presuming that might have something to do with it.

I've had problems with my pads, especially after using those "QUICK LEVEL UP" tricks in RPGs, where you use an elastic band...

They're not.

Look over "there".

"They are" not the same or "they're" not.

There not. They dont come with the pressure pad buttons that the DS2 does.

even if the warranty is still up , and even if you decide to pay money to fix it , they never fix controllers , trust me , buy another one , a ps1 controller is the same , for a good price

Nah, dont think thats it. This is a clear change in direction as if I had done it myself, evidently I dont usually run him off the pitch in a good attacking position.
