OK, lets have a vote:

The banners in the mad banners competition are at:

http://ukchatforums.reserve.co.uk/bannercomp/

Please state:

1. Who do you think is the best banner designer?

2. Which banner do you think is the best banner? (state clearly e.g. the first few words which appear on it and the name of the designer)

3. Who is the worst banner designer?

4. Which banner is the worst banner?

I would vote myself the best banner designer! Why? Because I want to be good at something?

:(

You try fitting 13 DVD pictures onto one banner in a sequence and under 15k.

Here is my vote:

It's very difficult to split the best designers, but by a short neck I gave it to Dav1d.

I thought the best banner is er-no's "what do these have in common?" but I'm not sure if we would actually use it!

The best wording in my view is "Sick to death of these stupid adverts" by cooldogs.

I thought the worst banner is "Tony Smells" but the concept of it is brilliant if only it had the right words.

The worst banner designer in my view is rik-rik.

Seriously it is very difficult to decide. You try.

hmmm... I wonder if I can drop a bomb on Tony's car.

...er-no goes to get the address on his stolen direct inquiries database disk.

People who have not made banners will not understand how difficult it is with the 15K size limitation.

And Tony... that thing in the Banner comp has really ticked me off. Please try and help!
