The left thumbstick on my joypad has gone dicky. It won't turn right full lock - for example on GTA or PGR2 the wheels only turn half way to the right, and on R63 it'll only walk right, not run. Very irritating, it seems to be getting worse - on some games of PGR2 I've tried to turn, but carried on going straight, leading to much profanity.
I haven't mistreated it at all, and have only had it just under a year. Is it Knucking Fackered, or do you know if it can be fixed?
I found a tutorial for cleaning out all the buttons, but it doesn't mention anything about cleaning the sticks. I'm tempted to just have a go at giving it a good scrub anyway, as it's pretty much useless to me, but am I wasting my time?
As it is I'm reduced to using a cheapo one.
I haven't mistreated it at all, and have only had it just under a year. Is it Knucking Fackered, or do you know if it can be fixed?

my right (fire) trigger is buggard it does what it wants, on counter strike i was running to get the other team and my gun went mental, started firing everywhere and at everyone (not the other team though -_-')
my teammates thought I had gone insane, then it stopped and went away. Then it does it on halo in the middle of a fight against the covenant, started blasting soldiers (why cant it be a HELPFUL problem instead of one that makes you lose the game?!) Grrr.

I remember when my Playstation controller went all gey on me, i took it apart, it was fun, i cleaned it.
And to my surprise it worked.
Just open it up, very interesting.
If you got a cam, take afew piccys of it, some people might appreiate it.
