"A while ago Namco announced that they had no plans to release either Tales fo Symphonia or Baten Kaitos in Europe. They believed that the sales that were predicted for these two titles would be worth it. In the natural way of the internet a petition was made and people signed. [I signed it too! -tphi]
However, unlike most internet petitions, it was acknowledged. Namco have announced that the highly anticipated RPGs Tales of Symphonia and Baten Kaitos will be coming to Europe after all.
Speaking exclusively to Cube-Europe a Namco representative said:
'I am pleased to let you know that both of these titles will be released on the GameCube for Europe. However, this will not take place until the end of this year/beginning of next year due to the lengthy translation process.'"
God damn, this is great news, both of these RPGS looks suuuperb and have had great reviews. If there's one genre the Cube lacks in, it's RPGs, and here are two brilliant ones, confirmed (and exclusive I presume). Top news.
Now Nintendo have to follow suit and bring out Giftpia.. pullease..
If Nintendo really does have the kind of games it has people like Miyamato talking about in interviews, which are totally unique and revolutionary, then I'd bet they'll involve new or existing Nintendo characters.
Explain please Cyclone, or "shut the f**k" up as you so succintly put it...

Bell, shut the f**k up and read it again.
Woot, Tales will be good. Baiten Kaitos = ? but probably is good again.
*sigh*
From what I've read, and from what people here on this forum have been saying, the whole point of an early release for N5 is to introduce new kinds of games and ideas to videogaming. Call me cynical, but Golden Eye 2, whilst welcome, would not fill that criteria.
GOLDENEYE. 2.
;-)
I mean, another FPS is hardly the kind of groudbreaking game that Nintendo keep saying they want to develop for the next generation of consoles.
Goldeneye 2 = N5 launch title - Will be revealed at E3.
Name's codename is Project Redhawk.
Namco to develop exclusive Beat 'em up for GCN.
